Apple barn fun and Anniversary getaway

Dahlia had a field trip to the Apple Barn with her preschool last week.
she was very excited to go even though it happend to be pouring rain that day.

I think these kids are going to be tall like their daddy.

Nate found Mater in the pumpkin patch, he was thrilled!

Here we are just after Dahlia picked out her pumpkin. they had to knock on the pumpkin and ask it if it wanted to come home with them. she found that one and it was an instant attachment.

Nathan is not too sure about picking pumpkins in the rain.

"do you want to come home with me?"

The apple sorter, the kids also got to learn all about apples and try some apple cider and a taste of a Jona gold apple.

Dahlia and Nathan loved the bunnies in the petting zoo area.

Dan and I went away for a few days for our 6th anniversary. this is a beach in Tofino. the weather looks bad but it was actually a very nice day just some fog had rolled in at the beach.

I found on of those sea snake looking seaweed things always fun.

We found a fun little chocolate shop. its very small inside but the chocolate was tastey!

There was a bathtub on our deck... we could also see all the other bathtubs on everyone else's deck as well. not so private.
