Five years of never ending excitement!

On Oct. 4 it was our 5 year anniversary, Dan planned an adventurous weekend get away. It was going to be a surprise, but Dan was concerned that the activity he booked was not going to be to my liking, I told him as long as it wasnt bungee jumping or skydiveing then I would be game for it. He chose quading In whistler. it was fun, I was scared since i have never been on an ATV before . I drove around on the practice run but when we got on with the tour i chose to ride behind my thrill seeking dare devil husband. who proceeded to fly through the ditches and puddles and soak us with mud, it was also raining and really cold.
we didnt make it to the peak because some guy on the tour ahead of us decided to drive off a cliff...oops, lucky for him he jumped off his quad before it hit the rocks.
he was a little shaken up and ended up being taken back to his hotel and the rest of us carried on without incident.
we had a nice meal waiting for us half way up and had a chance to try and dry off and warm up before we headed back down the mountain. we were so chilled that after we got back the hotel we headed straight for the hot tub.
the only pictures we took were on the atv tour. the rest of whistler was beautiful too! and since it was off season it was not busy at all. we had some yummy dinners. one at the Teppan grill and we found the rocky mountain chocolate factory and Dan bought me a Caramel apple hmmm my favorite!!
we had such a good time spending time together. Just like that last five years, its really been an adventure, non stop fun!
