Dahlia's Birthday

Dahlia is two years old now, we had a little birthday celebration for her on sunday It was a lot of fun she got spoiled with all sorts of fun new toys and clothes. This little brown jumper is her new birthday dress I bought for her, I think she liked it.
Here she is checking out her birthday cupcakes, I wasnt sure what to do this year for a cake. Last year i did cupcakes too but they were different from these, these ones look like the cupcakes on her favorite shirt. and i made boiled icing to go on top, which tastes kind of like marshmellows. next year she will be old enough to pick out the kind of cake she wants.
She got this tricycle from her grandma and grandpa keeley, she had the cutest smile on her face when she discovered it on our deck.
And her new favorite pj's in the whole world... her auntie Kayla picked them out for her. they are fairly close in age Mikeala is only 8 years older than her and I think they will have fun together as they get older.
Its nearly impossible to get a picture with the kids together these days...Dahlia does not like to sit for a picture every shot we get of her is candid and we have to sneak up on her... as you can see in this one i am trying to hold on to her while she is squirming out of my arms.

So that was Dahlia's birthday... we all had fun and I am looking forward to this new year with her changing and growing, she is turning into such a sweet little girl, she doesn't seem like a baby anymore but it is fun seeing her go to sunday school and get excited about seeing other kids and doing things like coloring with crayons and dancing to baby beluga. Kids are just so much fun.
