We went on an all day adventure to find the natural hot springs, I thought they were some kind of tourist attraction so I didnt realize how hard it would be to get there. Dan knew what they were like because he had been there before.
so the road is rocky and bumpy and there were a few landslides we had to drive over and all sorts of obstacles. It was alot of fun. but "Queen Latifah" really got a work out. ( thats our truck) we did take a wrong turn and that put us about half an hour off course, but we eventually found the right path and about 5 min. before we got to the springs, some guy passed us on his motorcycle.
and when we got there we saw is bare bum strolling into the bushes towards the springs.....wonderful!!! we get to share our romantic day at the hot springs with an old naked guy, he sure was friendly though, an not embarassed at all to be naked. we were not so daring... after sitting on the tailgate eating snacks for a while we finally decided to go join old naked in the hot springs.
we let him have his own tub though. we really didnt want to share.
when we got back, we got ready for our romantic dinner in the copper room and then had a nice swim in the warm pools at the hotel...and no more naked old people.

After dinner we tried to find someone to take a picture of us all dressed up together but the batteries in the camera died, so we took this picture.
Happy Anniversary to us!

Here we are all dressed up for our fancy dinner at the Copper room , It is a fancy resaurant in the Harrison Hotsprings hotel. our water even cost $10! it came in a class vase and it was imported from Denmark... it was called "Voss" ooohhh la la... It was a nice dinner though and there was dancing but we were feeling a bit intimidated by all the old people who were swinging eachother around like they knew what they were doing....so we just watched.
This is the view of Harrison lake. this was on our adventure to the natural hot springs.

Hi Mandy,
I am soo glad to hear that the two of you still enjoy each other's company and that you had a chance to get away without Dahlia. It always amazes me how time away without kids can refresh our love for each other.
Praying that the two of you will enjoy many more anniversaries together!
~Mandy
PS- You two clean up pretty good!!!
